January 2 is National Motivation & Inspiration Day

The United States Congress declared Jan. 2 as National Motivation and Inspiration Day on Dec. 18, 2001, and the new celebration was first observed in 2002.

What are inspiration and motivation?

Inspiration influences how you feel. It’s something that catches your eye, makes you curious, and moves you to get creative or consider taking action.

Motivation, on the other hand, is the reasoning behind your actions. Motivation is the reason you work hard, and inspiration is the catalyst behind those actions.

ACTION: What is your favorite motivational or inspirational quote? Put it on the poster at the time clock and then visit livewellepc.com to note that you completed the action. Off-site employees may email livewell@engleonline.com with their quote.

The deadline to complete is Tuesday, January 31.

I adde a motivational or inspirational quote to the poster at the time clock.

What is the monthly punch card? Each month you will have a task to complete. Complete six months and you will be marked as completing an a la carte program. Complete nine months and you will be entered in a drawing to win $25. The Wellbeing year runs from October through September.
